John and Ben Hucks,
I want to let you know how happy I am with the 6 hole chassis unit
you built for my Ford truck. I gave you a very rough idea of what I
wanted and you put together a unit that surpassed my expectations.
All the special details you put into this box are wonderful. The
finish work on the whole unit, including inside where no one can see
it, is the finest I have seen. During the 35 years I have been
training dogs, I have gone through my share of custom built toppers
and chassis units. I can say that none of them can begin to compare
with this unit. Your opening roof design is indeed unique as well as
your dog ramp. You need to put a patent on it. I know my chassis
unit was the first one you both built, well, all I can say is WOW, I
can?t believe they could get any better than this but knowing how
initiative you both are I am sure this is just the beginning. I am
so glad I decided to have Mountaintop Custom Kennels build this unit
for me. I am sure you both will have a great future in custom
building dog toppers and chassis units for years to come. I would
also like to thank you both for keeping me informed with email and
attaching pictures of the various stages of the building progress of
my unit. This was greatly appreciated. My husband and I can?t say
enough thanks for saving us a driving trip of 8 hours one way during
our family crisis, delivering the truck to us was way above the call
of duty.

  After making and trying two proto-type dog sled
boxes out of wood I needed to find someone to build an aluminum box
for me. I called several places and they said they do not do custom
work, I seen Mountaintop Custom Kennels? ad in Full Cry mag.
I spoke with Ben Hucks and told him what I wanted and he was excited
about the opportunity to build the box so I sent him the plans. Ben
and John looked over and discussed the plans. Ben called me and said
how they wanted to make some changes to my plans, things that I did
not think of. I agreed, so production was started.
Ben called and updated me and wanted to get more info on some of the
things I requested. I explained what I was going to use it for and
he suggested to make it water proof, which sounded good to me.
Pictures were sent to me (E-Mail) and I was impressed with what I
saw. I called Ben and told him it looks great and I said that I was
going to add a gun rack when I got the box back. I asked if he had
any thoughts on this. So Ben & John came up with an idea and
explained it to me and I said go with it.
Box showed up and it was AWESOME I could not believe how well it
turned out.

John and Ben,
I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know what I great job I
think you guys did on my custom 2 hole slide in dog box. I came to
you guys after doing a lot of research with other dog box makers.
None of them seemed to demonstrate the interest in working on my
custom requirements. You folks were willing to work with me from the
very beginning. I told you what I wanted and gave you measurements.
From there you were kind enough to walk me through as you built the
box. Providing pictures via email so I could see how the process was
going, ask questions and make changes. This relationship was really
key in getting me exactly what I wanted. This kind of customer care
is what will make you guy?s leaders in your business. Thanks so much
for putting up with a sometimes pain in the butt customer like me.
In the end, I got a great quality dog box the way that I wanted it
at a great price.
Keep up the great work and thanks again for doing such a fine job!!

I just wanted to thank all of the fine folks
at MountainTop for the box. It?s much more than I had expected. I
really appreciate the quality craftsmanship and the custom vents for
extra ventilation, which the dogs really need here on the West
Coast. Solid work fellas.

I just wanted to thank all of you for the
great job Mountain Top did on my box. You really went the extra mile
and worked all day on a holiday to get done so I didn't have to stay
over night. I got all 16 of my door handles and hardware replaced,
tightened all of my hinges, rewired my airing lights and fans, put
in a pressurized water pump, and fixed my vent problem on the water
tank. Ya'll are really a class act and even made lunch for me. I
really appreciate the hard work and will let everyone know what a
great job you did.
